Who We Are
Our History
The Master's Hands started with a vision from God of having a place to invite people to come in, sit down, and receive food for the soul and for the body. The Master's Hands would be a place where people could feel comfortable knowing that they will be loved regardless of how they looked or dressed, or what their past or present condition is. The Master's Hands would be a place where the word of God would be taught, preached, and lived out daily for all to see.
The doors were open to the public on August 21st, 2011, with three workers, a few people enrolled to receive food, a little coffee, a small amount of food, and faith in Jesus.
Where We Are Today
The Olney location of the Master's Hands serves more than 1,689 households and 5,098 souls. Of those, more than 63.9% do not attend church, more than 1,950 are women, 403 are Seniors, 248 are infants, and 1,110 are children between 1 and 13 years of age.
Our Future
We praise God for the opportunity to expand by signing the purchasing agreement the former Ty’s Buffet restaurant at 1065 W. Main Street. We are so excited to see what God has in store for our ministry as expand into this new location!
Our Prayer Requests
That God would send us souls to minister to.
That we would raise enough funds to cover the cost of the new building and necessary renovations in full so that we will take on no debt with this project.
Our greatest need is for Spirit-filled volunteers to come along side us and love people in Jesus' name.
